Provide full service dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, trimming and styling according to breed standards or owner requests.
Use breed appropriate shampoo and grooming products to ensure pet safety and comfort.
Identify and address any health concerns during grooming such as skin issues, parasites, and report them to the pet owner.
Communicate with clients to understand their grooming preferences and any special instructions for their pet.
Provide professional and friendly customer service to customers, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Ensuring all grooming equipment and grooming spaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly to maintain a hygienic working environment.
Uphold and follow all safety guidelines and protocols, standard operating procedures, and organizational policies for both pet and personal safety.
Stay updated with the latest grooming trends and techniques by participating in industry workshops and training sessions.
Proven experience as a dog groomer with a portfolio of past experience.
Certification from a grooming school is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of different dog breeds, styles, and grooming techniques.
